Why should I study with a Brett Manning Associate first, before I work with Brett?

The real question is, "Why wouldn't I take a lesson with a Brett Manning Associate?"
Brett has personally trained each member of his elite Associate Coaching team, and they continue to work directly with him on a regular basis. Plus, Brett Manning Associates are a little less expensive - and we know that you want to spend your money wisely. When you're learning from a Brett Manning Associate, you're getting the same advanced vocal mastery and technique - at as much as half the price!

When you do come into the studio to learn from Brett, it's essential that you have a fundamental understanding of this technique in order to get the best possible experience for your time and money. For most singers, it's wise to take at least two lessons with an Associate before working directly with Brett.

How often should I take lessons?

Our clients typically work with their coaches at least 3 to 4 times each month. Depending on your goals, you may want to take weekly lessons, or in some cases even two times a week. It's up to you how often you should take a lesson, but in most cases one vocal lesson per week is recommended.

Do I need to use the Singing Success Program first or should I take a lesson first?

BMS voice lessons are diagnostic. In other words, the coach will diagnose your voice and its specific problems and give you a plan to succeed in technique and style.

The Singing Success Program is still the best daily method for training your voice systematically. The program gives you a regular game plan for each day, so you’ll find greater consistency and rapid results. The Singing Success products are developed for specific needs and designed to be combined with BMS lessons for the most effective vocal training in the world.

I Don't Live In Nashville, Can I Still Study?

The most amazing transformations are made through Brett Manning's Associates wether the student is studying in the studio, over the phone, or through web-cam. There is a slight advantage to in-person lessons but most of our coaches schedules are filled with Skype and Phone lessons due to the tested results students are able to achieve without having to travel to Nashville, TN in the United States. We challenge you to take a lesson over the phone or through web cam and experience your own success before questioning the effectiveness of remote lessons! We know you will be hooked after the first lesson.

Does it cost more to take a phone or SKYPE lesson or is it the same as an in person lesson?

Phone lessons and SKYPE lessons are priced the same.

What are some good ways to stay healthy as a singer?

Plenty of rest above all else will cure most vocal ailments. To expedite the healing process we recommend rest with a combination of natural health products including:

-Calli Tea (mint or cinnamon)
-Sunectar stevia (all natural liquid sweetener)
-Sunbreeze Essential Oil or Balm (soothes muscles, opens breathing passages and is cool & refreshing)
-Entertainer’s Secret Vocal Spray (all natural-spray relieves dry, sore throat and scratchy, hoarse voice)
-Citric C (designed to address the body's defense system with naturally occurring antioxidants and fortifying properties)
-Conco (for treatment of colds, allergies and respiratory illness)

Stock up on these products when you come to your voice lesson, or give us a call at 615-866-1099 and place an order over the phone!

I am a beginning singer and have never studied voice before. Will Brett and his team work with me?

YES!

How many lessons should I take to become a good singer?

We believe that the kind of lessons you take are far more important than “how many” lessons you take. The Brett Manning Method is designed to empower the singer with knowledge from the very first lesson, so there’s no need for a long-standing commitment of weekly lessons. Some of our students purchase a ten lesson package and stretch it out over a year while working with the Singing Success CDs. By the tenth lesson the student has a firm grasp on the individual needs of his voice and only continues with regular one-on-one “checkups” in the future. Your coach will be glad to suggest a schedule of lessons for you after the first session.

Can you help me get a record deal?

We can’t guarantee you a record deal, but Brett Manning and his Associates can provide you with the vocal knowledge you need to enter the professional performance world. We’ll help you develop the talent and confidence needed to pursue your dreams and accomplish your goals. Whether you are looking to improve your voice or record a professional demo/album, everything can be done with our elite team of professionals.
